Stalwart Receives Supplemental Label

 Durham, North Carolina:  SipcamAdvan announced today that Stalwart® Herbicide is now approved for use on tomatoes in California.  Stalwart is a metolachlor product offering outstanding, cost effective preemergence weed control.  One application takes care of a broad spectrum of troublesome weeds including foxtail, fall panicum, crabgrass, pigweed, yellow nutsedge and many others. 

Stalwart may be applied post-directed to direct seeded tomatoes.  On transplanted tomatoes Stalwart may be applied pre-plant incorporated or pre-plant before transplanting.  Application may also be made post-directed to transplants after the first settling rain or irrigation.  Stalwart Herbicide is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation labeled for use on a wide variety of crops.  Stalwart contains 8 pounds of metolachlor per gallon and provides preemergence control of annual grasses and small-seeded broadleaf weeds.
